Job summary

Blayze Group is seeking a Project Manager with genuine data center construction experience in Dallas. You will lead data center projects from preconstruction through turnover, coordinating MEP and mission-critical scopes while managing budgets and schedules.

You will work with owners, consultants, and trade partners, overseeing procurement, testing, and commissioning. Travel to project sites is required as work is awarded, and you’ll participate in an ESOP-driven, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• PM experience with a General Contractor delivering data center projects.
• Strong understanding of critical electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience coordinating MEP and subcontractors on mission critical sites.
• Willingness to travel to project locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center projects from preconstruction through turnover.
• Coordinate subcontractors across MEP, CSA and mission critical scopes.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate electrical and mechanical infra including switchgear, UPS, PDUs, gens, busway and cooling.
• Understand sequencing, redundancy, and interfaces between power and cooling.
• Manage long-lead equipment procurement and installation.
• Collaborate with superintendents, commissioning teams, design consultants, owners and trade partners.
• Drive projects through testing, commissioning and handover.
• Travel to project locations as required.
