Job summary

HDR is seeking an Assistant Data Center Project Manager to help deliver high‑impact datacenter projects and develop client relationships in a dynamic, global practice. You will coordinate design teams, manage scope, and support delivery from conception through completion.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and managers across HDR’s Building Engineering Services, leveraging Revit, BIM360, and other tools to ensure on-time, on-budget performance. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5 years related experience in project planning, design, construction, and/or commissioning.
• Ability to interact with design teams and have excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
• Active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams through the project life cycle under supervision of a Project Manager.
• Responsible for a small project or a single aspect of a larger project.
• Coordinate workload through project execution, ensuring deliverables on budget and schedule.
• Work with Project Manager, Accounting, Operations and Leadership for periodic project reviews.
• Travel locally to project locations and HDR offices as needed.
