Job summary

W. G. Yates & Sons Construction Company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of day‑to‑day operations on high‑performance data center projects.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Relevant education, training, or work experience may substitute for degree.
Knowledge of construction and engineering principles in mission-critical environments.
Understanding of business principles to monitor expenses.

Responsibilities

Review project contract documents, specs, and drawings with emphasis on MEP systems and commissioning protocols.
Participate in coordination meetings with trade partners, design teams, and client stakeholders; take minutes as required.
Provide field support to construction superintendents and project managers for data center standards compliance.
Assist in developing scopes of work for subcontractors, especially electrical, mechanical, and low-voltage systems.
Support constructability reviews focused on high-density cooling, power distribution, and fire suppression.
