Job summary

HDR is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to join our Building Engineering Services team in Ohio/Pennsylvania. You will lead design teams and manage projects from proposal to construction administration, coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.

The role emphasizes mentoring, business development, and establishing strong client relationships while delivering high-quality, on-time, within-budget solutions for mission-critical data center projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years related experience in project management.
• Experience leading data center/mission-critical projects in an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
• Ability to mentor and train younger project managers.
• Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
• Understanding of industry standards and document management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams from concept to completion.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors.
• Develop proposals, scopes, schedules and budgets.
• Oversee project quality, schedule, scope and budget.
• Mentor staff and support business development efforts.
