Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Program Manager to own end-to-end delivery for data center projects in the Bellevue, WA area.

You will coordinate requirements, manage inter-project interfaces, and report progress across a broad set of stakeholders to ensure on-time execution. Responsibilities include leading multi-project programs, maintaining timelines, and driving scalable, data-driven process improvements within the Data Center Delivery workflow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical program management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a discipline that requires problem-solving (Engineering, Physics, Finance, Business or equivalent).
• Knowledge of MS-Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to define requirements and processes.
• Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and/or project deliverables, and negotiate any needed trade-offs.
• Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
• End to end responsibility for the program’s execution and success.
• Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
• Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
• Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow up.
• Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
• Assist in daily operational tasks as part of the overall Data Center Delivery workflow.

Education
