Job summary

Western States Equipment Company in Pasco, WA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on power systems, conduct load bank tests, and complete daily service and inspection reports for customer equipment.

You will use web-based systems to obtain specifications, coordinate parts, and communicate with customers and supervisors while upholding safety and customer care commitments.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or technical training preferred.
• One-year experience on power systems equipment preferred.
• Current driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
• Must communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance including fluids and filters within time guidelines.
• Performs load bank testing per client/state/local specs.
• Performs oil sampling and sends samples to lab.
• Identifies safety issues during walk-around inspections and reports them.
• Uses STW, SIS, and ET to obtain machine specs and tasks.
• Completes service reports and load bank reports daily.
• Communicates equipment issues to customers and supervisor.
• Adheres to customer care standards and safety policies.
