Job summary

Western States Equipment Company in Pasco, WA is seeking a DC Lead Technician to oversee PM work in the Power Systems Data Center, performing diagnostics, repairs, disassembly, assembly, and failure analyses of customer machines within the Data Center scope. The role offers ongoing education and training under the Technician Career Development Plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree or technical training from an accredited vocational school preferred.
• Two years minimum experience working on power systems equipment.
• Must be able to read schematics, troubleshoot, disassemble, assemble, remove and install components.
• Must have a current driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of one-year previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM activities exactly to client expectation following the customer supplied MOP.
• Take full accountability for team by signing off on customer supplied MOP, indicating work has been completed fully.
• Performs load bank testing in accordance with client, state and local specifications.
• Identifies potential safety problems on equipment and reports them to the supervisor and customer.
• Communicates equipment issues and status of equipment to customer and supervisor.
• May participate in training and support Western States’ strategic programs.
