Job summary

Fabick Cat is seeking an experienced Power Generation Technician to support a major data center project beginning in 2027 in the New Florence, MO area. You will install, commission, load-bank test, and maintain extra-large generator sets in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities include starting up and maintaining 3 MW diesel generator sets, performing load-bank tests, conducting preventive maintenance, and documenting test results.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-frame generator sets.
• Experience with commissioning/startup/load-bank testing or data center power systems is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience with electronic diagnostic tools; Cat ET experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
