Job summary

Mantis Innovation is seeking a field-based technician to lead PLC/Ignition installation, commissioning, and startup at data center sites in the Umatilla, OR area. You will perform independent diagnostics, calibration, and validation, ensuring on-schedule delivery and high-quality documentation while coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have strong PLC experience, Ignition environment familiarity, and the ability to travel within the Pacific Northwest.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with PLC systems.
Experience with Ignition environments and live commissioning.
Proven ability to independently commission, startup, and troubleshoot.
Located within driving distance of Umatilla, OR with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Execute installation, commissioning, and startup of PLC/Ignition-based control systems in data center environments.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network control system issues in live environments.
Perform point-to-point checkouts, calibration, and full system validation independently.
Deliver project scope on schedule with quality and documentation.
Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to keep work progressing.
