Aerotek is seeking a Pipefitter/Welder for a data center project in Hampton, GA. The role focuses on layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems, including Victaulic grooved piping and 6-inch Schedule 80 steel pipes, with a typical 50–60 hour week.

Applicants should have 2+ years of pipefitting or welding experience, read blueprints, and be comfortable working onsite on large mechanical systems. OSHA 10 preferred.

Formación

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in pipefitting or welding 6-inch Schedule 80 steel pipe.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and piping diagrams.
• Experience with Victaulic grooved piping systems and mechanical installations.

Responsabilidades

• Perform layout and installation of piping systems for a data center project.
• Install pipe hangers, supports, valves, and related hardware per specs.
• Work with Victaulic piping systems using bolted couplings.
• Assemble and install steel piping using mechanical fittings and tools.
• Identify required piping components from drawings and prepare material take-offs.
• Follow project plans and installation standards for correct configurations.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Weld 6-inch Schedule 80 steel pipe per project and safety standards when required.
