Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Physical Security System Project Manager and Technology Expert in Missouri to lead data center security projects and systems across design, implementation, and testing phases.

The role requires coordinating with architectural and engineering teams to meet AWS security standards, and ensuring local security teams have the knowledge and resources for ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors experience.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• 2+ years’ experience in physical security project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation of approved physical security system hardware (access control, intrusion, CCTV).
• Design physical security systems for new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Prepare standards, drawings, and specs for vendor pricing.
• Review vendor quotes and provide QA for project requisitions.
• Project manage multiple security installation projects and vendors.
• Serve as SME for testing and acceptance and ensure operational readiness on completion.
• Prepare and archive close-out documentation.
• Report vendor performance metrics for installation, service delivery, and equipment availability.
