Job summary

Amazon seeks a highly skilled Physical Security System Project Manager to lead data center security projects. You will manage install of access control, CCTV, and intrusion devices, design systems for new builds and retrofits, and prepare standards and vendor quotes for procurement. Travel up to 25% in the U.S. is required.

You will mentor local teams and ensure operational readiness and thorough project close-out documentation, while tracking vendor performance across deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• 2+ years' Security Operations experience in data center, logistics, manufacturing, retail or similar industries, to include access control systems, CCTV, and defense in depth strategies.
• 2+ years’ experience in physical security project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation of approved physical security system hardware, including access control devices, intrusion detection devices, CCTV, and other components.
• Design physical security system for new construction, expansion and retrofit projects.
• Prepare security design standards, drawings, and technical specs for vendor pricing and QA of quotes.
• Coordinate multiple, concurrent security system installation projects and vendors.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for testing and acceptance and ensure operational readiness at project completion.
• Prepare and archive project close-out documentation.
• Report vendor performance metrics on installation, service delivery and equipment availability.
