Job summary

AWS Infrastructure Security is hiring a Physical Security Program Manager to own security system installation during end-to-end data centre construction. You will manage security vendors from RFQ through project completion and ensure every site meets AWS Physical Security Standards before handoff to operations.

Based in New Albany, OH, this on-site role requires expertise in security systems, vendor management, and regulatory compliance to drive safe, scalable data centre implementations for AWS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer facing IT role or physical security systems/infrastructure work
• 2+ years of physical security project and vendor management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in infrastructure security.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end deployment lifecycle for physical security systems.
• Conduct due diligence on proposed security system designs and vendor solutions.
• Perform site assessments to meet AWS Physical Security Standards and local regulations.
• Review security system drawings and provide feedback to engineers and vendors.
• Develop and validate programming logic for access control and CCTV systems.
• Serve as escalation point for complex physical security issues.
• Lead integration testing and document results for acceptance.
• Track vendor performance and quotes against contractual requirements.
• Evaluate priorities and constraints to make sound engineering decisions.
