Job summary

Supermicro seeks a Sr. Manager, Data Center Operations to lead our colocation facilities. You will oversee day-to-day management of high-density data centers, ensuring uptime, safety, and compliance while guiding data center design and capacity planning.

The role requires deep knowledge of electrical redundancy, direct liquid cooling, and GPU-driven infrastructure, with cross-functional collaboration and executive reporting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of data center operations experience with high-density compute.
• Strong understanding of electrical redundancy and power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect data center infrastructure for scalability, availability, and performance.
• Oversee daily operations of high-density data centers, ensuring uptime and safety.
• Manage electrical infrastructure, including UPS, ATS, generators, and cooling.
• Lead Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) operations and CDU upgrades with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, facilities, and vendors to meet capacity goals and SLAs.
