Job summary

Lambda’s Quincy, WA data center is seeking a hands-on Data Center Technician to help rack, label, cable, and deploy infrastructure across our GPU‑heavy systems. You will troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues in a world-class environment, document topology in DCIM, and work with supply chain for large-scale deployments.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet operational goals and ensure reliable data center operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with critical infrastructure systems supporting data centers.
• Familiar with DCIM software and cabling standards.
• Understanding of power theory and PDU balancing.
• Experience with network topology and 400Gb InfiniBand architectures.
• Experience with ticketing systems like JIRA and Zendesk.
• Advanced Linux administration.
• Experience with High Performance Compute GPU systems.

Responsibilities

• Rack, label, cable, and configure new server, storage, and network infrastructure in data centers.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on GPU and networking systems.
• Document data center layout and network topology in DCIM software.
• Coordinate with supply chain & manufacturing for deployments.
• Manage parts depot inventory and track equipment through lifecycle.
• Collaborate with HW Support to resolve incidents and disseminate solutions.
• Coordinate with RMA team for returns and replacements.
• Follow installation standards for placement, labeling, and cabling.
