Job summary

Atos SE is seeking a hardware-focused professional to join the data center team. The role involves supporting hardware installations, audits, and troubleshooting within a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless operations, maintain documentation in the CMDB, and assist with installation plans and change management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in IT preferred.
• Certifications CCNA and/or A+ are desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced data center environment and support hardware installations.

Responsibilities

• Vendor management and adherence to data center best practices.
• Develop hardware installation plans and assist during internal/customer calls.
• Maintain CMDB and assist with hardware troubleshooting and audits.
• Support 24/7/365 hardware installation and changes in the data center.

Duties

Vendor management. Development and adherence to best practices in the data center (DC). Technical assistance during internal and customer calls. Developing hardware installation plans in the DC. Escalating incidents to upper management. Involvement in new business opportunities. Investigation and implementation of new hardware technologies. Managing hardware inventory and coordinating with vendors. Analyzing trends for continuous improvement. Maintaining and auditing the CMDB. Supporting hardware installation and troubleshooting.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Associate degree in IT and 2 years of experience. Desirable certifications: CCNA and/or A+.

Skills

Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

24/7/365 support. Planning and executing hardware installations and changes in the data center. Managing inventory and conducting audits. Resolving technical issues and supporting clients and auditors.
