Job summary

LightEdge Solutions is seeking a Data Center Tier II Technician to manage and maintain data center hardware, assist in client service installations, and coordinate maintenance with vendors. Qualifications

• A minimum of a two-year technical degree or 4 to 8 years of equivalent experience.
• Experience in network cabling termination: Ethernet, CAT6, fiber.
• Experience with routine maintenance tasks in data centers
• Familiarity with operating systems and system hardware.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with data center hardware.
• Install servers and networking equipment into racks with associated network cabling.
• Assist in new client service installations and projects.
• Respond to and resolve alarm events affecting infrastructure and services.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities with vendors for onsite and remote sites.
