Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Data Center Operations Support Technician to provide site-based technical and operational support in high-availability data center environments. You will monitor and maintain critical IT equipment to ensure reliable operation, executing routine tasks with supervision and assisting on complex tasks under a senior technician.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a data center operations or related technical field.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure and IT hardware maintenance.
• Basic troubleshooting of hardware, core software, and network issues.
• Experience with environmental monitoring and batch processing support.
• Willingness to work in a procedure-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical support for data center computer systems and peripherals.
• Monitor system performance and ensure scheduled jobs complete on time.
• Perform standard maintenance and repair activities.
• Reassign job priorities according to policy and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to alerts.
• Update systems and applications as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors to replace or repair failed equipment.
• Assist with cabling, racking, and server installations when required.
