Job summary

DP World is seeking a high-impact Shift Manager to lead critical data center logistics and operations in a fast-paced environment. You will drive performance, develop teams, and ensure operational excellence through strategic planning and hands-on leadership.

You will balance customer expectations, workforce management, and continuous improvement while serving as the primary liaison between the customer and operations teams to deliver service excellence and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience performing professional level operational and plant management duties; preferably in automotive or logistics.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents; respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Ability to write documents using original or innovative style and persuade top management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient PC skills including email, record keeping, databases, word processing, spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of a logistics operation to maximize scheduling and delivery.
• Interface with customer to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and adherence.
• Enact contingency plans and direct activities during system problems or disasters.
• Review performance against targets and take corrective actions with authorization.
• Provide effective leadership to Warehouse Managers and teams, enforcing standards.
