Google is seeking a Technical Operations Manager for Third-Party Data Centers in Sterling, VA to oversee daily facility operations at partner sites and ensure reliable, efficient infrastructure across locations.

You will bring 10 years of relevant experience and a technical degree, manage risk and maintenance, forecast resource needs, and communicate with stakeholders to uphold Google's uptime and service quality in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or equivalent.
• 10 years of experience in Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, or controls in industrial/commercial environment.
• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs and work on platforms, ladders, and under raised floors.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational assessment and risk analysis at third‑party operated sites.
• Own co‑location sites facility operation with tactical and strategic accountability.
• Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to meet global standards.
• Support site selection through operational and technical knowledge.
• Engage stakeholders to keep them informed about work and decisions.
