In this role, you will lead the team responsible for the physical infrastructure powering Google’s search technology. Working an overnight shift (6pm–6am), you will manage Data Center Technicians who install, configure, and maintain the servers and networking hardware essential to our global operations. You will oversee routine maintenance and troubleshooting of Linux-based clusters and network components, ensuring all equipment remains reliable and secure throughout the night. Beyond technical oversight, you will be focused on hiring, coaching, and developing talent within a 24/7 environment. You will translate company objectives into daily workflows, manage capacity delivery, and ensure seamless shift hand-offs. You will advocate a safety culture while fostering a collaborative environment, ensuring the backbone of our digital services is managed with precision during these critical hours.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
