Job summary

Duos Technologies, Inc. in Columbus, GA seeks a Data Center Manager to oversee the safe, reliable day-to-day operation of a Duos Edge AI data center.

The role is full-time and on-site, focused on maintaining uptime and operational readiness as the site grows and additional infrastructure is placed into service. You will manage electrical and cooling infrastructure, tenant services, and cross-functional coordination while ensuring safety, security, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in mission-critical facilities or data center operations.
• Demonstrated ownership of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure in a live, uptime-sensitive environment.
• Working knowledge of high-density compute environments, including liquid cooling and containment.
• Experience managing tenant or customer service-level agreements in a multi-tenant or colocation environment.
• Strong command of critical-operations disciplines, including SOP, MOP, EOP, incident management, and change control.
• Proven ability to hire, lead, train, schedule, and develop an on-site technical team.

Responsibilities

• Own 24/7 operational availability of the facility, including power, cooling, environmental, life-safety, and supporting systems.
• Own preventive and reactive maintenance procedures for critical and general facility systems.
• Exercise stop-work authority over any activity that places the facility or personnel at risk.
• Manage transition from construction into live operations with formal acceptance of systems.
• Maintain and execute SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and change-control requirements for all critical systems.
• Oversee capacity management as the site grows, including power, cooling, space, and tenant allocation.
• Serve as the primary on-site operational contact for GPU-as-a-service, colocation, and other customers.
• Own customer remote-hands requests from receipt through completion with documented work.
• Coordinate tenant installations, moves, adds, changes, and maintenance activity with security, IT, vendors, and NOC.
• Deliver against tenant SLAs and Ready-for-Service commitments; manage change control for tenant work.
• Manage on-site data center personnel and vendor relationships; hire, train, and develop staff.
• Coordinate and control contractor activity on site during phased build-out without impacting live operations.
