Engineer 2, Data Center Engineering to support both deployment and day‑to‑day operations in a critical facility environment. This role serves as a key member of the data center engineering team, responsible for hardware installation, decommissioning, migrations, structured cabling, maintenance execution, troubleshooting, operational issue resolution, and on‑call support. The ideal candidate works effectively across teams and vendors, applies sound technical judgment in equipment placement and infrastructure support, develops and follows technical procedures, and helps ensure data center operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.

This engineer works onsite in our Northlake, IL Data Center. The hours are Monday-Thursday, 9am-8pm with a rotating on‑call weekend schedule.

Illinois Pay Range: $68,460.25 - $102,690.38 Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
