Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in NC, Hamlet is seeking Infra Delivery Install Technicians to move and install large enterprise equipment, install fiber and copper cabling, and ensure safety and security standards while supporting 24/7 data center operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or similar technical role
• 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment experience including VFL, power meter, and OTDR
• Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers

Responsibilities

• Moving and implementing large enterprise equipment
• Installing Fiber and Copper cabling and patching cabling between equipment
• Ensuring proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation
• Following well established hardware installation procedures and break‑fix activities
• Safely using material handling tools and equipment
• Traveling within and outside of the regional work area is required.
