Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Network Deployment Project Lead to own end-to-end data center cabling deployments, including migrations, new sites, and new regions.

You will install, rack, and patch networking devices, run and patch fiber, and configure devices using automation tools and CLI. The role involves planning, validation, and collaboration with contractors and internal teams as AWS expands its data center footprint.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of medium to large-scale Data Center cabling deployments (migrations, new sites, new regions).
• Initial cabling planning, installation, validation, and quality assessment.
• Engaging external contractors and newly onboarded cabling vendors.
• Plan with stakeholders to determine device and cabling requirements, schedule resources, and report progress.
• Install, rack, and stack networking devices, run and patch fiber, and configure devices via automation tools and CLI.
• Perform validation, device troubleshooting and stress testing prior to capacity delivery.
