Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Deployment Project Lead to own end-to-end medium-to-large data center cabling deployments, including migrations, new sites, and regional expansions.

The role emphasizes autonomous work, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, with cross-functional collaboration across AWS teams. The candidate will install and validate cabling, rack equipment, and configure devices using automation tools and CLI.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Experience in computer networking and hardware troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Initial cabling planning, installation, validation, and quality assessment.
• Engaging external contractors and cabling vendors.
• Plan resources and schedule to meet project timelines; report status.
• Install, rack and stack networking devices; patch fiber; configure devices via CLI/automation.
• Validation and troubleshooting prior to capacity delivery.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% including local and international AMER assignments.
