Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks Infra Delivery Install Technicians to move and install large enterprise equipment and to install copper and fiber cabling in data centers. You will follow established procedures, ensure safety standards, and perform break-fix tasks as needed.

You’ll travel between data centers, work with switches and routers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep the AWS network running smoothly and securely.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center, critical environment, or similar technical roles.
• 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment experience (VFL, power meter, OTDR).
• Experience with copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patching between equipment.
• Maintain safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area as required.
