Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated's PCX division seeks a seasoned Sales Engineer to lead our data center power distribution solutions, translating customer needs into tailored technical proposals and design support.

Based in North Carolina, you will travel up to 60% domestically, engage with key accounts, present at trade shows, and work with Product, Engineering and Marketing to drive specification-led sales and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data center technical sales.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Proficiency in interpreting One Line diagrams and using AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proven ability to interact with diverse customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre and post-sales technical support, including design assistance, addressing queries, and crafting tailored proposals.
• Consult with key accounts to advise and enhance the client experience.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure Hubbell PCX is preferred in opportunities.
• Integrate Hubbell PCX into specifications from the design stage.
• Lead product meetings and presentations, build client relationships, and drive orders to completion.
• Support training and field adoption for the DC sales team; represent at trade shows.
