Job summary

Cache Valley Electric is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Mission Critical to lead large-scale electrical construction projects nationwide. The role focuses on safety, schedule, budget, documentation, and successful turnover, working with field leadership, owners, and engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical construction background, experience managing data center or mission-critical projects, and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or large-scale electrical projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction means, methods, installation requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and construction documents.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, cost forecasts, and schedules.
• Monitor labor productivity, costs, and profitability; update financial reporting.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts, and scopes of work to guide execution.
• Coordinate with field leadership, engineers, vendors, and owners to align on goals.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement.
• Identify scope changes and prepare pricing and negotiations for change orders.
• Support QA/QC, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities.
