Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical construction on a large-scale hyperscale data center project in Abernathy, Texas. You will oversee project planning, field execution, staffing, subcontractors, scheduling, procurement, cost control, client communication, commissioning support, and closeout.

The ideal candidate has 8–15 years of industrial or commercial construction experience, with at least 5 years in managing mechanical projects

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of industrial or commercial construction experience.
• At least 5 years of experience managing mechanical construction projects.
• Experience with HVAC, chilled water, piping, fire protection, and equipment.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, procurement, and change management.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical construction activities from kickoff through turnover.
• Manage HVAC, chilled water, piping, plumbing, fire protection, and equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering, electrical, structural, and subcontractors.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, procurement, labor productivity, and change orders.
• Lead inspections, commissioning support, turnover docs, and final acceptance.
