EEI is seeking a Mechanical Support professional to help commission, test, and document mechanical systems in data centers and mission-critical facilities. You will work with experienced commissioning staff, gain hands-on exposure to HVAC, chilled water, cooling infrastructure, and controls integration, and contribute to field testing and documentation efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience or exposure in mechanical systems, facilities operations, commissioning, construction, engineering, maintenance, or related technical environments.
• Ability to learn technical concepts and apply them in field and office settings.
• Strong reading of technical documentation and drawings with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commissioning, testing, and verification of mechanical systems that support mission-critical facilities and data centers.
• Participate in field observations, equipment startup support, and functional testing with experienced staff.
• Gather field data, photos, notes, and system information to support documentation and issue tracking.
• Support project teams with coordination, site readiness, testing preparation, and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Build practical knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, cooling infrastructure, and controls integration.
• Help maintain accurate project records, test forms, issue logs, and deliverables.
• Follow safety expectations and contribute to a People First team environment.
