Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Mechanical Engineer to design, model, and validate mechanical systems for modern data-center deployments. The role emphasizes CAD proficiency, knowledge of data-center construction, and hands-on work with skidded and containerized products.

You will collaborate with electrical, controls, structural, and product teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of data-center mechanical engineering or mission-critical infrastructure experience.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit or Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D CAD models for mechanical systems in data-center environments.
• Create fabrication drawings, layouts, piping diagrams and installation documentation for skidded and containerized systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet site requirements and codes.
• Perform tolerance analysis and manufacturability reviews for complex assemblies.
• Support cooling infrastructure, hydronic distribution and mechanical room layouts.
• Work with manufacturers and vendors to validate assembly processes and quality standards.
