Amazon’s AWS Data Center Eng, Mech Products and Services is seeking a Mechanical Product Design Engineer to own the design and innovation of data center mechanical systems. Based in the U.S.

with flexible locations including Austin, you will partner with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver resilient, cost-effective solutions that scale for customers. The role requires 4+ years in data center design and a bachelor's in engineering, with travel up to 25% and collaboration with suppliers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience.
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cross-disciplinary setting with the ability to influence and drive others.
• Impactful design work across data center mechanical systems.
• Develop integrated systems extending the life of data center infrastructure products.
• Define and design liquid cooling equipment and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to design and develop new data center product solutions.
• Provide technical SME support to peers, senior management and partner teams.
