Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Logistics Associate for the 2nd shift. The role focuses on inventory control, receiving and shipping, and maintaining a safe, organized work area within a data center environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate stock levels, timely shipments, and proper documentation while following safety protocols and forklift/pallet jack procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software, plus proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations with/without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Familiarity with lifting techniques and material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming inventory, including racks, networking equipment, and hardware.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and proper documentation for items received and shipped.
• Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with suppliers and carriers; prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging.
• Upload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Transport inventory using pallet jacks and other safe handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and assist with disposal of packaging materials.
