Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring for a Data Center Logistics Associate in Kansas City, MO. The role involves managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment in our data center.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to support logistics needs, assemble server racks, and follow safety procedures while handling heavy equipment. Eligible candidates should have a HS diploma and at least 1 year in logistics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic office software (e.g., Excel).
• Ability to lift and move heavy material and operate material handling equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: receive, inspect and record incoming inventory; maintain accurate records.
• Shipping and Receiving: coordinate with carriers; prepare shipping documents and labels.
• Facility Maintenance: keep work areas clean and organized; assist with disposal of packaging and obsolete equipment.
• Compliance and Safety: follow safety protocols and access controls.
• Support and Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams to meet inventory needs.
• Assembly: assist in setup and installation of server racks and cable management.
