Job summary

CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring a Journeyman Electrician in Sterling, VA for a year-long data center project. You will install and terminate electrical systems, troubleshoot, and collaborate with project teams on site.

This full-time role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience, a valid Journeyman license, and safety training; schedule is 4 10s and 2 8s, starting at 6am, with potential for growth and additional safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial/missions-critical electrical experience.
• Journeyman Electrician License required by jurisdiction.
• Experience with data center electrical systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical construction practices.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and one-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate electrical systems for data center operations.
• Install conduit, cable tray, grounding and bonding systems.
• Pull, route, terminate and test feeder and control wiring.
• Read BIM models and construction specs; assist with commissioning.
• Troubleshoot using meters and testing tools; support project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, client specs and safety standards.
• Maintain documentation of installations and test results.
• Mentor apprentices and participate in safety briefings.
