Job summary

Nationwide Children\'s Hospital is seeking a part-time intern to support IT services during 20 hours per week, 7am-12pm, Monday-Thursday. The role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration in a healthcare IT environment.

The position requires enrollment in an Information Services program and familiarity with Windows systems, ServiceNow, and basic networking. On-site duties include data center exposure and multitasking in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting workstation/server hardware environment.
• Experience in a data center environment: racking & stacking equipment and cable management.
• Experience with day-to-day virtual server management.
• Familiar with the ServiceNow IT service management solution.
• Basic networking experience.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes data. Runs pre-defined queries and formats reports as appropriate.
• Compiles and builds presentation materials to support projects and reports findings.
• Attends weekly group development sessions and participates in intern events.
• Applies strategic, system-level thinking for problem solving.
• Performs clerical coordination and administrative tasks as needed.
• Collaborates with manager and provides recommendations to improve department.
