Job summary

FIS is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure professional to support data center buildouts, hardware installation, and documentation across multiple sites in the US. The role focuses on ensuring availability, reliability, and proper cabling and power distribution for critical IT systems.

Ideal candidates will have enterprise data center experience, strong fiber/copper cabling knowledge, and familiarity with CAD tools like Visio or AutoCAD, along with MS Office and Google Suite usage.

Qualifications

• Experience in an enterprise data center or similar critical system environment.
• Strong knowledge of fiber and copper structured cabling systems and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Understanding of IT hardware, compute systems, telecom, network, storage, and security environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data center availability and reliability of critical IT systems.
• Identify interdependencies between facility and IT infrastructure and mitigate gaps in redundancy.
• Document infrastructure designs and connectivity plans across multiple data centers and servers.
