Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists seeks a Datacenter Installation Specialist to support data center deployments, fiber infrastructure installation, and structured cabling in a hands-on role. You will perform rack and stack activities, install network gear, and ensure accurate documentation of all installations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of data center experience, strong fiber cabling skills, and the ability to read deployment plans, with on-site work readiness for ISP and colocation

Qualifications

3+ years of data center installation experience.
Hands-on with servers, switches, and rack equipment.
Experience with fiber optic cabling, termination, and testing.
Able to read rack elevations and deployment plans.
On-site work readiness.

Responsibilities

Install and rack servers, switches, storage, and network gear.
Perform rack and stack activities with rails, cabinets, PDU, cabling.
Route, terminate, and document fiber and copper cabling.
Install and maintain fiber infrastructure and patch panels.
Test fiber, troubleshoot, and validate connectivity.
Support hardware upgrades, replacements, and decommissions.
Read rack elevations and deployment docs; maintain installation records.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations.
