Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Infrastructure Management Technician to configure monitoring systems and support our data center clients. The role covers on-site installation, preventive maintenance and scheduling service for monitoring systems that support power and cooling equipment.

Responsibilities include optimizing performance, asset management, real-time monitoring, troubleshooting on-site, and providing timely communication to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military training preferred.
• 4+ years of hands-on networking and infrastructure experience.
• Familiarity with real-time monitoring systems and test equipment.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimize performance.
• Configuration management (Planning and Managing Processes).
• Asset management (Managing Physical Assets).
• Real-time monitoring and support for customers.
• Provide on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on monitoring systems.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Strive for first-time fix on equipment.
• Accurate reporting of timecards and expenses.
• Adhere to safety standards and PPE guidelines.
