Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation seeks an Infrastructure Management Technician to configure monitoring systems for data center clients. You will install, maintain, and schedule service to support power and cooling equipment and provide on-site and phone assistance to customers.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on networking and infrastructure experience, plus familiarity with real-time monitoring and fault analysis. Valid driver's license and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, networking and/or information technology or military training preferred.
• 4+ years of hands on networking and infrastructure experience.
• Familiarity with real-time monitoring systems test equipment and fundamentals.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Ability to evaluate the operating conditions of equipment.
• Standard computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Clear, concise, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of internal and external customers.
• Self-motivated and ability manage own schedule.
• Timecards, expense reports, mileage reports, ticket closure, forms and more.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Configure monitoring systems to support data center clients.
• Install and perform preventive maintenance on monitoring systems.
• Schedule service for monitoring systems.
• Render technical on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Respond to emergency calls and strive for a first time fix.
• Provide accurate and timely communication to customers.
• Keep current on safety notices and service tips.
• Submit timecards and expense reports promptly.
• Wear PPE per guidelines and adhere to safety rules.
• Report accidents or injuries within 24 hours, as required.
