Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Install Technician to transform data center infrastructure. You will move, install, and cabling enterprise equipment, ensuring safety standards and proper patching between devices.

Travel to various data centers is required and you may work at alternate sites during training. This role supports 24/7 data center operations with hands-on technical work, cross-functional collaboration, and growth opportunities in a dynamic AWS environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience.
• 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment including VFL, power meter, and OTDR experience.
• Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.

Responsibilities

• Moving and implementing large enterprise equipment.
• Installing Fiber and Copper cabling and patching cabling between equipment.
• Ensuring proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
