Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Infra Delivery Install Technicians to move and install large enterprise equipment across AWS data centers.

You will install fiber and copper cabling, patch between equipment, and ensure safety and security standards during installation. You will join a diverse team of engineers and operations staff, collaborate on troubleshooting complex scenarios, and support 24/7 operations with a flexible schedule, including travel to multiple data center sites as needed

Qualifications

• 2 years in data center, hardware repair, or related roles.
• 2 years of network cabling and test equipment experience.
• Experience with copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.
• Willingness to travel between data center locations.

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patch between equipment.
• Maintain safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and perform break-fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area is required.
