Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Infra Delivery Install Technicians to transform network infrastructure through hands-on hardware installation, cabling, and system integration across data centers.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, secure infrastructure that powers AWS services. The role requires travel to data center sites, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and a willingness to work in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• 2+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience.
• Experience with network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment including VFL, power meter, and OTDR.

Responsibilities

• Moving and installing large enterprise equipment.
• Installing fiber and copper cabling and patching between equipment.
• Ensuring safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Following established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely using material handling tools and equipment.
• Traveling within and outside of the regional work area is required.
