Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Infra Delivery Install Technicians to move and install large enterprise equipment across data centers. You will install fiber and copper cabling, patch cables between equipment, and maintain safety and security during installation.

This role requires hands-on technical work, travel within the regional work area, and the ability to work in a 24/7 environment. Starting pay and relocation considerations are provided by Amazon.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Willingness to travel between data center locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Moving and implementing large enterprise equipment.
• Installing Fiber and Copper cabling and patching cabling between equipment.
• Ensuring proper safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation.
• Following well established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely using material handling tools and equipment.
• Traveling within and outside of the regional work area is required.
