Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring Infra Delivery Install Technicians to move, install, and cabling enterprise equipment in data centers. You will follow established procedures, ensure safety standards, and support hardware installation tasks across regional sites.

The role requires travel to multiple data center locations, including training assignments at alternate sites. Relocation assistance is provided for eligible candidates, and Amazon offers extensive benefits.

Qualifications

2+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience, or experience in similar technical roles.
2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment including VFL, power meter, and OTDR experience.
Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.

Responsibilities

Moving and implementing large enterprise equipment.
Installing Fiber and Copper cabling and patching cabling between equipment.
Ensuring proper safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation.
Following well established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
Safely using material handling tools and equipment.
Traveling within and outside of the regional work area is required.
