Job summary
Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Infra Delivery Install Technician in Canton, MS to lead on-site hardware deployments and cabling for AWS data centers. You will work with cross-functional teams to install, test, and validate infrastructure components in a highly scalable environment.
The role requires lifting, travel to multiple data centers, and adherence to safety standards while supporting 24/7 operations. A technical background in IT and network cabling is essential for success.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations.
- 2+ years of network cabling, fibre optics, and test equipment experience (VFL, power meter, OTDR).
- Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fibre cabling, switches, routers.
Responsibilities
- Move and install large enterprise equipment.
- Install fiber and copper cabling and patch panels.
- Maintain safety and security standards during installation.
- Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
- Travel within and outside the regional work area as required.
