Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Network Install Technician to support AWS data centers in Canton, MS. You will join a cross-functional team, install and troubleshoot cabling, and help maintain high-availability infrastructure.

This role requires physical work, travel to multiple data center sites, and willingness to operate in a 24/7 environment with safety-first procedures; relocation assistance is provided for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.
• 18+ months of experience in data center or critical environment or similar technical roles.
• 18+ months of experience with network cabling, optic types, and test equipment (VFL, power meter, OTDR, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cables between equipment.
• Ensure safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area as required.
• Physical requirements: all required with accommodations.
