Job summary

Generac is seeking an HVAC Technician in Massachusetts to perform field service maintenance and emergency repairs on a range of HVAC equipment, including Marvair, Bard, Carrier, Trane, Goodman, and McLean units with economizers. The role expects strong diagnostic and reporting skills and a willingness to travel to job sites.

The position requires an EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, a DOT medical certificate, and HVAC training with at least 200 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and HVAC training totaling at least 200 hours.
• EPA certification is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and DOT medical certificate.
• Electrical code hours and accumulated hours meet job level requirements.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and service commercial equipment under 10 tons.
• Ability to travel daily to job sites and document field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components of HVAC systems.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency service requests.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
