Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for Critical Facilities in our data center operations. You will ensure reliable operation of all mechanical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, handle daily corrective work, and respond to outages to maintain uptime.

Responsibilities include reading wiring diagrams, using CMMS, coordinating with vendors, and training junior technicians while following safety procedures to support mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years HVAC experience in data centers or large facilities.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance and corrective work on critical systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and read schematics/blueprints.
• Document activities in CMMS and log results.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor BAS/site systems.
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety procedures.
• Support data center uptime targets and incident response.
